There are a few Institutes providing Post-Graduate Courses. They are:

• Royal Institute of Management- Established in 1986, RIM provides several Post-Graduate Certificate Courses, Diploma Courses and other Courses.
• National Institute of Education (NIE), Paro and Samtse- The two institutes provide both pre-service and in-service teacher education programmes. Programmes include B Ed, Diploma/Certificates, PGCE and M Ed.

The Royal University of Bhutan has also, recently, started a Masters programme in Dzongkha to give an opportunity to Dzongkha lecturers to upgrade their qualification and strengthen their teaching skills. The programme will be conducted as a one-month residential course during winter by the university with the resource persons from the Zhung Dratshang.
